SEDMOI KONTINENT third quarter results

Russian retailer Sedmoi Kontinent has reported in the third quarter, based on management accounts, that gross retail sales increased by 34% and reached USD325 million. 9M 2007 sales reached USD983 million, an increase by 32% compared to 9M 2006. Q3 like-for-like sales grew by 18%, whilst 9M 2007 like-for-like sales were up 16.8% in dollar terms. The average ticket in the company’s chain of stores for the 3Q 2007 grew 21% compared to the similar period of 2006 and reached USD13.1.
