Yum! Brands takes over Rostik’s-KFC Russian joint venture

US based Yum! Brands has agreed to acquire the entirety of its Russian joint venture from partner Rostik Group, Rostik's-KFC. Rostik's-KFC is a chain of 16 quick service restaurants owned by Yum! Brands and Rosinter. Rostik’s-KFC operates in Russia and the CIS. The deal was part of a 2005 agreement under which Yum! Brand had an option to buy the restaurant chain by 7 June 2010. Russia's Federal Anti-Monopoly Service has cleared Yum! Brands to buy the chain.
